So sweet!

She is looking so much older. Not a baby anymore.

Joe & Annie's Wedding

Daddy's friend Joe got married in Columbus. Daddy was a groomsman and Layla was a dancing machine. That was all she wanted to do. Dance and eat mints. She liked those, too.

Dancing with Uncle Seth

She liked the bubbles, too.

Grandma and her girls.

Do I look like my Daddy? Look at those profiles.

She was a tired girl by the time we got back to the room.

Easter #2

The Easter bunny came to Grandpa & Grandma Weedin's the Sunday after Easter. Looks like he still had lots of good stuff left.

Sharing with Khloe.

Wow!

More stuff in here.

Layla loved finding the eggs. She really didn't even care what was inside.

Goodbye Great Grandpa Don

Grandpa Don passed away on March 28. We were all sad to lose another grandpa so soon. He had been diagnosed with cancer in October and finished his treatments on December 31. Two weeks before he passed away they told him that it had spread. He was suffering so much that the only thing that would make him smile was when the little girls came to visit. He loved them both so much and was so proud of them. We will miss him!
Grandpa was one of her first visitors. We laughed because he went to Grand Island and picked out a couple of outfits for her and then drove to Lincoln to see her and bring those presents.

Father's Day 2007

Christmas 2008
Every one of Grandpa's grandchildren and great grandchildren were here to celebrate on Christmas Eve. Christmas was Grandpa's favorite holiday. He loved to open his presents and watch the kids open theirs too. He always had lots of shrimp and food to go with it. We are so lucky we all got to be together for his last Christmas.

Grandpa had a huge candy bucket that he shared with all the kids in the neighborhood. It didn't take Layla long to look for it everytime she went to his house. Even now if you ask her what Grandpa Don gives her she says "Candy".

Getting her candy all sorted out. She would put it in baggies and take it home for Mommy.
