Trip to Grandma's preschool

Layla went and visited Grandma Weedin's preschool class the other day.

The preschool kids were amazed by her.

These are some pics of Layla posing with some snowman dolls. She's quite a bit shorter than these things but way stockier. I'd put my money on Layla anyday in a scuffle with these things.

Thanksgiving

Here are a few Thanksgiving pics taken last week. Sorry I haven't posted to the blog in a while but that's all gonna turn around now. We did a lot of driving this Thanksgiving. We went to South Dakota the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and then turned around and went to Aurora the Friday after Thanksgiving. Layla rides really good in the car so that helps out with the traveling.

Here are some pics from the past 2 weeks or so. You can really see that she's starting to smile a lot more. Over the past 3 weeks she's started to smile, laugh, and talk a ton. She usually talks the most when she's getting her diaper changed. She's loves it for some reason. She had her 2 month appointment last week and is really starting to pack on the pounds. She got her first round of shots though which was tough to watch. She took em like a big girl though.

South Dakota Weekend

This past weekend we went to South Dakota to visit Jess's family and do some pheasant hunting. Here's Layla with one of the roosters we shot. She didn't know what to think of it.
